This series "Chuckles" was a response to the Bush administration and the disaster, I felt, they all wreaked upon the world. The use of photographs displaying the gesture of the thumb and forefinger thus, encourages a multi layered discourse as to its meaning. Glitter further aided my intent to place them in the context of a game show subsequently making them less dangerous.
